In the new CBA season, all players were required to take a full-body test, except for the 4 national team players who participated in the 3-on-3 basketball competition at the Paris Olympics. The test includes two-minute intensity shooting, weighted bench press, weighted squats, and specific speed endurance tests. The pass line for the specific speed endurance test is 90 seconds and the total score is 400 points. Before the preseason starts, each player has one chance to take the test and one chance to retake the test. Only those who pass the test can qualify for the preseason and the regular season.

Liaoning Men's Basketball team conducted the tests in Qingdao. In the specific speed endurance test, the 37-year-old veteran Han Dejun had an average score of 73.46 seconds, surpassing the pass line. And in the other three tests, the captain of the Liaoning team passed easily. 34-year-old Li Xiaoxu's performance was even more outstanding, with a total score of 420 points in the first three tests, surpassing the pass line of 400 points in advance. ▶ New foreign players will debut in the CBA preseason

The CBA preseason will kick off this Friday, with 20 teams divided into five divisions for the games. In the first phase of the preseason, Liaoning Men's Basketball team will compete against Beijing, Shenzhen, and Ningbo Men's Basketball teams in the Dandong division. On September 20th at 19:30, Liaoning Men's Basketball team will face off against Shenzhen Men's Basketball team. The second phase of the preseason will take place on October 3rd, with Liaoning Men's Basketball team competing against Jilin, Shandong, and Tianjin Men's Basketball teams in the Huludao division. Liaoning Men's Basketball team's new foreign players and several young players are expected to debut in the preseason.

The new CBA season will start on October 12th. In the opening game, Liaoning Men's Basketball team will host Zhejiang Men's Basketball team at home. The regular season will consist of 46 games, reducing 6 games compared to the previous season, with two window periods during the season. After the first 10 rounds of the regular season, there will be a window period of more than 20 days.
