In the second game, Chen/Jia once again started strongly, taking a 5-1 lead. They maintained a 4-point advantage until 11-7 and went into the interval with the lead. After the break, the pair continued to hold on to their lead until 14-10. Then, Chan/Tina launched an incredible comeback, especially at 14-16, where they scored four consecutive points to take the lead at 18-16. The score see-sawed from that point on, with Chen/Jia catching up at 18-19. However, Chan/Tina managed to score two more points to win the second game 21-18.

In the deciding game, Chen/Jia started strong once again, taking a commanding 4-0 lead. Chan/Tina fought back, but Chen/Jia responded with three consecutive points to take an 11-5 lead at the change of ends. After the change of ends, Chan/Tina continued to fight back. Jia Yifan called for a medical timeout at 16-13. After the timeout, Chen/Jia scored three straight points to reach 21-15 and win the game, securing a 2-1 victory in this tense encounter and advancing to the women's doubles final.
